Still River Celebration Day

Come down and Celebrate the Re-birth of the Still River.  Activities are FREE and include:

Wild Birds
– See live demonstrations of hawks, eagles and falcons with the Sharon Audubon Society

Invertebrates
– Learn who
lives in the river mud and why they are important with the Housatonic Valley Association

·       
Nature Walks
– See the Still
River floodplain with Danbury’s Greenway Consultant or take a walk on the
floodplain to watch birds with Wild Birds Unlimited

·       
Photo Contest
– Walk along the
Still River with the Danbury Camera Club and
take photos and submit for contention for a prize from the Still River Editions

·       
Enviroscape
– See a demonstration of how pollutants flow into our waters by the Candlewood Lake Authority
