CT Sons of the American Revolution to relive Colonial army encampment

The Connecticut Society of the Sons of the American Revolution is proud to present its living history encampment at the historic Hurd House in Woodbury, CT on Sunday Sept 15, 2013 from noon to 5:00 PM.

The Sixth Brigade of the CT Militia represented by the Gov. Oliver Wolcott, Sr. Branch of the Connecticut SAR will be encamped with equipment representative of the Colonial era and dressed in Colonial period uniforms. Members of the 23rd Regiment of Foot Royal Welch Fusiliers in America will join us to make the day even more interesting.

This will be part of the Colonial Fair and Muster Day festivities that takes place annually at both the Hurd House and the Glebe House on Hollow Road in Woodbury.

This is a free event and open to the public.
