The formation of the UJC began in 1926 as a "middle-of-the-road, liberal congregation" with only 31 members and has blossomed over 80-plus years into a center with nearly 300 families. There is an outreach program available to those interested in learning more about the Jewish life and obtaining a greater understanding of it. The UJC is also commited to the education of the young, with three separate youth groups designed for fourth graders through high schoolers.
