The Palace Theatre, built in 1928, is a 400-seat art deco space located on Main Street in Danbury. It originally seated almost 2,000 and hosted acts such as Chuck Berry and Louis Armstrong. Later in its life it was a movie theater. It reopened in 2009, and features regularly scheduled musical performances and special events. It can also be rented for private functions.
