At King Street Primary School students may have been feeling some school pressure all summer long because the k-2 school's goal was for 90 percent of its students to participate in the Governor's Reading Challenge. They were asked to read 20 books over the summer and report their efforts in a journal. Students who read at least 10 books met the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Summer Reading Challenge and will receive two free tickets to opening day. King Street Primary prides itself on setting high standards and giving students the tools they need to meet and exceed those standards.
