<p>The Danbury News-Times is the daily newspaper based in Danbury covering western Connecticut, including the towns of Danbury, Brookfield, Bethel, New Fairfield, Newtown, Redding, Roxbury, New Milford, Sherman and Kent. The News-Times has a bureau in New Milford and it publishes The Greater New Milford Spectrum weekly, which covers towns north of Danbury, including New Milford, Washington, Roxbury, Kent and Bridgewater. The News-Times was formed in the late 1800s of the Danbury News and the Danbury Times. The national Audit Bureau of Circulation says the paper has an audited Sunday circulation of more than 30,000 and a Monday-to-Friday circulation of more than 22,000. It is owned by the Hearst Corp.</p>
