B'Nai Israel began in 1896 and is the oldest synagogue in Danbury. It is rooted in conservative Judaism and strives to keep with traditional synagogue worship while addressing the needs of modern life. Adult and children's education classes are available, as well as teen preparation for Bar and Bat Mitzvah.
