Two Huge Tag Sales, Close Your Pond, Celebrate the River

Danbury's Largest Tag Sale takes place at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Mount Pleasant AME Zion Church, 69 Rowan St. Our Annual Tag Sale is the largest church tag sale  held every September.We will have old and new items for purchase, games, prizes, food and lots of fun for everyone.

The Danbury Fish & Game Association's annual tag sale and estate sale starts at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the association's headquarters, across from Danbury Town Park and next door to the PAL building. This event will have a large inventory of sporting goods, tools, children's clothing and quality household items.   Our location across from the Danbury Town Park gets much traffic and visibility for many customers.

The Still River Celebration Day takes place at 9 a.m. Saturday behind Kimchuck, 1 Corporate Drive, Danbury. Celebrate the rebirth of the Still River with wild bird demonstrations, invertebrates, an enviroscape, walking tours and a photography contest.

Cooper Mulch & More next to the airport is offering a free seminar this weekend for people who want to close their pond for the winter. We will cover everything you need to know about closing your pond for the winter season. Including netting, proper aeration/heating, fish and plant care. The seminar begins at 10 a.m. and runs about 90 minutes.
