Pack the Gym Pink, The Science of Flight, Game Dinner, Open Mic, All This Week in Danbury

The Science of Flight will be presented at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Danbury Public Library. How do airplanes stay in the sky? Learn a little of the physics of flight and then do some hands-on experiments making hoop gliders.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Register online at danburylibrary.org, click on "Events" or call 203-797-4528.

Visit the Midtown Coffeehouse at Western Connecticut State University at 8 p.m. Thursday for an open mic performers followed by Beau 
Badrick at 9 p.m. Beau Badrick is a young pop rock singer, songwriter and 
multi-instrumentalist (http://beaubadrick.com/). 
Admission will be free and the public is invited. 

On Friday, January 17, 2014,The 2013 FCIAC Champion Lady Hatters girls’ basketball team is having a “PACK THE GYM PINK NIGHT” to promote cancer awareness in memory of their beloved coach Officer Bobby DiNardo.  On Friday, January 17, 2014 the Lady Hatters will be hosting a home game vs. Stamford.  Tip off time is 7:00 pm in the main gym at Danbury High School. 

Hit the New Fairfield Sherman Sportsman Game Dinner at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Squantz Fire House, New Fairfield. The snow date is Sunday at 7 p.m. $30.00 under 12 1/2 price.
