Catch fish for science!

The Bethel Land Trust is currently doing a survey of what species live on our preserves. We need your help!

After you've gone fishing, use this internet form to report what you caught and if you saw any invasive species while fishing.  Bonus: submit a picture of what you caught!

This information will help us better manage the preserve. Reporting invasive species helps us stop them in their tracks before they get established.

All the Bethel Land trust properties are open to public from dawn to dusk every day. Please have a valid CT fishing licence. You may either throw your catch back OR keep it. Please see our fishing page for info on best practices to avoid introducing invasive species to the property.

Great activity for all ages. If you submit a picture of your catch with the report, we may feature the picture on our website!
