Whiz Kid: Alexis Oseiwusu

Alexis has completed her first semester at college before she has even graduated high school.

Alexis Oseiwusu graduated from Danbury High School June 27 and will be attending the University of Connecticut this fall.  She will begin her studies there having already completed 30 college credits at DHS.

“Alexis started getting awards at pre-school and she has never stopped,” her mother said as she leafed through a hefty binder filled with acknowledgments of Alexis' accomplishments.

Her brother Derek Oseiwusu, who will be a sophomore at DHS, said,  “My sister inspires me to achieve. She is such a cool and collected person, and I try to be like her.”
