Security Takes Center Stage at Danbury Schools

Danbury will add security patrols this week as the Board of Education reviews school safety.

Danbury Schools Superintendent Sal Pascarella alerted parents Tuesday night that each school will have security patrols this week. Security will check both inside and outside the schools.

In addition to that, Danbury Police will make random patrols.

The Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Broadview Middle School for a district-wide discussion of public safety. Parents are urged to attend and participate.
