New Name for 3Rs Partnership, Same Dedication to Danbury's Children

The name reflects the partnership's promise of a successful future for Danbury's students

Danbury's Promise for Children Partnership, formerly known as the 3Rs of Early Childhood, has been working together for seven years to identify the needs of Danbury's children in order to address the challenges many of Danbury's children face.

“We changed the name to better reflect the work we do,” said Juleen Flanigan , the Partnership's Co-Chair and the Executive Director of Early Childhood Services at Education Connection. “Our goal remains the same; all Danbury children aged birth through eight are healthy and ready for school and lifelong learning.”

“We focus on the early years, because they provide the foundation for all future learning. We recognize that a child's health and emotional well-being are as important to school success as knowing your ABCs,” Flanigan added.
