Former Ed Chairman Says Missing Parents Worse than Budget Cuts for Danbury Schools

Irving Fox, former Chairman of the Board of Education, speaks to the board about how much the schools are hurt, not by budget cuts, but by parents not participating in the schools.

In what might seem like a surprise, former Chairman Irving Fox said a bigger issue for Danbury schools than a lack of money is a lack of parents being involved in the city's schools.

This video was shot by Danbury's John Neumuller, who airs the entire meeting on his Comcast Cablevision television show at 7 p.m. Saturday on channel 23. Many thanks, John.
