Children's Environmental Literacy Foundation (CELF) Summer Institute

The CELF Summer Institute is a hands-on professional development workshop for elementary, middle school and high school teachers and administrators. The three-day program, with optional fourth day break-out session, enables educators to integrate the concepts of sustainability into their existing curricula by equipping them with practices and teaching methods to address the intersection of social, economic, and ecological systems. Participants are eligible for in-service credits, or graduate credits from the Manhattanville College School of Education. For more information and/or to register, go to www.celfeducation.org or call 914-238-4753. A limited number of scholarships are available.
