Early Dismissal for Danbury Schools

The Danbury Public Schools sent out a reverse 911 message this morning telling parents the schools will be on early dismissal.

No, this is not a snow storm. The dismissal is in anticipation of extremely hot weather Wednesday and Thursday. Both days will have early dismissal.

"I'm sure Madeline is wondering why she got out of bed this morning," said one Danbury parent. Danbury High School lets out at 10:30 a.m. Other schools in the system let out at a variety of different times.
