DAYO Volunteers Working at King Street School

Today the DAYO-T-Ball Clean The Field Day will take place until 2 p.m. at King Street School. Volunteers will be cleaning up the baseball fields in anticipation of starting to play.  Volunteers will be installing a fence along the entrance way, repairing the fence and backstop and hanging sponsorship signs. These items were donated to the city by DAYO. The work is being done before opening day, which is April 30.

One of the goals is to build a sense of community and pride in the fields among the children and families involved in the program.
