Danbury High ROTC Receives Highest Inspection Rating

Based on its Feb. 6 inspection, the unit was rated 'exceeds standards,' the highest rating awarded.

Coming off a year in which they created a wall remembering Connecticut’s military veterans killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Danbury High School Air Force JROTC has received the top rating from a recent inspection.

The News-Times reported that the unit, Squadron CT-021, scored an "exceeds standards" rating from the military inspection on Feb. 6.

The Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps unit created a wall display at Danbury High School for Veterans Day last November to honor Connecticut’s soldiers and marines killed in action, and also donated $1,500 to the Female Soldiers Forgotten Heroes Foundation.
