This week’s 'wow' house in Ridgefield, Conn. literally has a magical past.

What makes this amazing estate so magical is that Houdini’s brother owned it for a time and the famous magician practiced his famous underwater escapes in that pool, Connecticut Magazine reports.

The price tag for this historical beauty is $5.75 million and is described by Zillow as a true Georgian estate.

The home has been restored and renovated and brought back to its glorious past. More than $1 million in renovations were poured into renovating the estate, Zillow reports.

Its location is one of the highest points in Fairfield County and it offers breathtaking vistas and views of Round Lake, Zillow states.

Surprising to me - how dull, cold, sterile and distant is the interior of the Houdini house. The video is incredibly yawn-producing. Sure, the house is very large and well-constructed, but ho-hum.
