Veterans Day in Danbury

Danbury celebrates Veterans Day with a variety of ceremonies.

Danbury will honor veterans of the Vietnam War Tuesday with ceremonies at 10 a.m. at the Vietnam War Memorial in Rogers Park. 

The city will remember the Maine, a ship destroyed by an explosion, in a ceremoney on February 17 at 2 p.m., that marks the beginning of the Spanish American War.

Danbury celebrated Veterans Day Sunday at 11 a.m. at the War Memorial in Rogers Park.

Danbury will honor veterans on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. at the War Memorial in Rogers Park.
