Politicians Turn Out for Primary

The final numbers for voter turnout aren't in yet, but it doesn't look huge.

Among those who visited Danbury Tuesday were Lisa Wilson-Foley, a Republican Fifth congressional district candidate, and Janet Peckenpaugh, a former news anchorwoman in Connecticut. Peckenpaugh also ran for office in the second congressional district two years ago. With Wilson-Foley, from the left, are Joe Cavo, city council president, Peckenpaugh, Wilson-Foley, City Council Member Andrew Wetmore and Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton. The group were campaigning at Broadview Middle School before noon.
