News and updates from the campaign trail in Connecticut.

Chris Murphy (D) released a new video ad titled “That’s Real.” In the ad, he addresses the camera and gives an example of using federal funds to employ people in Connecticut. “I’m focused on creating jobs,” he said.

There is NOTHING real about Chris Murphy, unless being a hypocrite is considered real...unless thinking he deserves special treatment for health care and his pension because he was a congressman is "real"! He's done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to create a single job in this entire state! He is considered by many to be one of THE laziest congressmen in the group. He simply does what obamas boys tell him to do. He does NOT have our interests at heart...only his own!

Lowes sells a 5 KW solar panel kit for $11,499 (installation not included Model #: GS-5000-KIT). TheRead More kit specifications indicate it can produce between 3,600 KWh to 8,400 KWh per year. In Connecticut 1 KWh costs around $.17+- depending who your energy producer is. When I multiply 8,400 times 17 cents, my calculator says the money saved by this $11,499 investment is between $612 to $1,428 per year. Green power from Con-Ed supplied via CL&P to my home costs an extra penny per KWh. This means I can avoid the $11,499 out of pocket and pay $36 to $84 per year to get the same green energy from my utility. Why would anyone pay $11,499 vs $84?
