Weekend Blotter: Troopers Make Aggravated DWI Charges

The New York State Police provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

Officials from the East Fishkill and  of the New York State Police charged the following individuals with various drunken driving charges over the weekend:

  • Jose D. Flores-Herrera, 35, of Danbury. Police stopped him on northbound Interstate 684 in Southeast around 2:45 a.m. Sunday. He's facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated. Troopers released the defendant on an appearance ticket. He will be due in court at a later date.
  • Patrick T. Johnson, 52, of New Fairfield. Officials charged Johnson in the parking lot of the Shell station on Route 22 in Southeast at about 11:50 p.m. Friday. He's facing two misdemeanor charges: driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. The latter generally indicates a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 or higher. The legal limit is 0.08. Police released Johnson on an appearance ticket for a later date in court.
