Two Charged in Knife Attack Outside C-Town

Danbury Police charged two men after a melee that spilled out of the El Milenio Club and ended up next door in C-Town's parking lot.

Danbury Police charged Eliezer Ruiz-Pacheco, 24, Balmforth Avenue, Danbury, with violation of probation and second degree assault, two charges arising from an outstanding warrant, after Ruiz-Pacheco and his brother Joesenier Ruiz-Pacheco, were involved in a knife fight at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday on North Street.

Police said the pair were part of a large crowd involved in a fight at El Milenio that spilled into the street. When police arrived, they found one stab victim down an embankment. He had been stabbed twice in the back and once in the neck. The second victim had already gone to Danbury Hospital. Both stabbing victims are listed in stable condition, according to Shift Commander Matt McNally.

Police said the two brothers fled the scene, running down Balmforth Avenue toward their apartment. Joesenier Ruiz-Pacheco climbed out a window when police arrived at their apartment, and he was caught by police on Holley Lane. He was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of threatening, breach of peace and interfering with a police officer.

Eliezer Ruiz-Pacheco was charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, threatening and breach of peace. Both men were held on $100,000 bonds. Both men are scheduled to be arraigned in Danbury Superior Court Monday.

My question is this...Would Bob Costas and the other anti Gunners look at this story and say.." The knife is to blame" ?

wait, you people have a problem with Bob Costas of all people, now? Good God, there should be a "waiting period" before you can post.

apparently you did not see his rant Sunday night James concering the tragedy that occured with the KC Chiefs linebacker. How the gun was to blame with the murder suicide. How if there was no gun they would both be alive. I suppose of there were no knives then his "innocent" buddy OJ would not have killed Ron and Nicole and its the knifes fault.

Costas is a sportscaster...his opinions about gun control are irrelevant...even more so in the context of a local stabbing.

Professor, ignore "Jimmy." He's the resident troll from Bethel who spends his days on the News Times posting vulgarities and threats. He thrives off the attention he gets on these forums.

Dear Patch, Please delete this stalker. If you look at his or her's profile you will see that he or she has never commented on any subject, and has just followed me around claiming I'm someone named "Squirms".
