Officials from the East Fishkill and of the New York State Police charged two Danbury residents with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated over the weekend:
- Jacob C. Winstrom, 29. Police stopped the defendant around 4 a.m. Sunday on eastbound Interstate 84 in Southeast. He was operating a Ford F150, for which a year was unavailable, and allegedly driving on the shoulder of the road. His blood-alcohol level was reportedly 0.09 percent. The legal limit is 0.08. Police released Winstrom pending a July 24 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.
- Matthew A. Kennedy, 36. Troopers stopped Kennedy around 2:30 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Routes 22 and 312 in Southeast. He was driving a 2007 Dodge Nitro, which was missing a license plate lamp, according to police. His blood-alcohol level was allegedly 0.13 percent. Officials released Kennedy. He is due in Southeast Justice Court on the same date.
