Traffic Stops in Southeast Lead to DWI Arrests

The New York State Police provided the following information. It does not indicate any convictions.

Officials from the East Fishkill and  of the New York State Police charged several people, each on a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, over the weekend. Defendants received appearance tickets. Here are their names:

  • Cody G. Downs, 26, of Danbury. Troopers stopped him around 2:20 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Route 22 and Sodom Road in Southeast.
  • Dylan J. Garay, 21, of Southbury. Police stopped Garay at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Routes 22 and 312 in Southeast. In addition to the misdemeanor, Garay is facing an infraction.
  • Miranda A. Sarjeant, 22, of New Preston. Police stopped Sarjeant around 2:30 a.m. Saturday on an exit ramp from northbound Interstate 684 in Southeast.
