Ridgefield Police stopped a car on the George Washington Highway at 9:21 p.m. Monday and saw alcohol in the car. The two people inside were both minors. The officer smelled marijuana. Police charged Lucas Dos-Santos, Morton Avenue, Danbury, with possession of alcohol by a minor and operating a motor vehicle without a license. Police charged the passenger, Luan Pitol, Stillman Avenue, Danbury, with possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana. Both Pitol and Dos-Santos are scheduled to answer to these charges on August 12 in Danbury Superior Court.
