The following information was provided by the Putnam County Sheriff via Southeast Brewster Patch. A person charged with a crime is not guilty until having been convicted in court.

Officials have charged a 23-year-old Danbury resident in connection with the alleged trafficking of prescription medication in Putnam County.

According to a  report released Monday, in November of 2011, an undercover deputy learned that the defendant, Ziedan A. Faied, of Morris Street, Danbury, was selling Roxicodone pills—which are often used as painkillers—at various spots in Kent and Southeast.

During the course of the investigation, police say, undercover officials bought the medication from Faied three times.
