Puppy Stolen from Federal Road Shop

Danbury Police are investigating the theft Sunday of a Shih Tzo puppy from its holding comtainer at American Breeders, 128 Federal Road. Police said after receiving the complaint, an officer interviewed store personnel and determined that a canine was stolen from the store. Store personnel reported that a suspect entered the store and removed a Shih Tzo from its holding container and exited the store without offering payment. The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing and a Yankees hat. The canine is valued at $1,399 and does have an identifying computer chip.

This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
