It's considered alleged because he has not yet been proven guilty, in America one is "innocent until proven guilty". You're worried about how he feels? What about the woman? She's the victim! What if it had gone further than groping and he raped her? Would you still be worried about how he feels or about her? I doubt they were the only two at this party, how come no one stood up for him and told the officers she was "exaggerating". Most likey he did it and its not the first time.

Lanse, sorry I didn't see your comment until now. The headline says "Police: Farmington Man..." The word police and the colon indicate that what follow is attributed to the police. So, police said that the man did something.

@susan, most if what you said was just you opinion, and you have a right to that. But saying things like, ”Most likey he did it and its not the first time.” Is your guess based on what was written here. Thank you, you proved my point exactly. You believe that ”Most likey he did it and its not the first time.” And that is the conclusion that anyone could draw from reading somthing like this. That is the problem. He will now be judged by everyone in this same way you just did because of the wording of this article. @ Kaitlin McCallum I completely understand that the reporter is just doing his job and writing what the police say, but I don't really care whos idea it was. A small thing like this can be blown out of proportion like this, and have facts exaggerated. Normally I wouldn't mind if they exaggerated. I just now realized how harmful that can really be.

Most sexual offenders are not caught or reported the first time. The victims feel ashamed or fearful. That is why the sexual offender becomes brazen and does that kind if foolishness at a New Years party! Most likey he also had too much to drink and went back to his usual behaviors. Where us ur concern for the real victim?

Where is your concern for the real victim? And her rights?
