Police Charge 2 Connecticut Men with DWI

The New York State Police provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Officials from the East Fishkill and the Southeast barracks of the New York State Police arrested a number of individuals on drunken driving charges over the weekend. Here are their names:

  • Yoel Borrero, 27, of New Milford, CT. Police stopped him on Route 22 in Southeast at about 4:10 a.m. Sunday. He is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated. Police released Borrero pending an Oct. 4 appearance in Southeast Justice Court. Additional details were unavailable Monday afternoon.
  • Gustavo E. Martinez, 33, of Danbury, CT. Troopers reportedly stopped him for speeding on westbound Interstate 84 in Southeast, around 2:15 a.m. Saturday. The defendant is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated. Officials say Martinez refused to submit to a chemical test for a blood-alcohol test. He was arraigned and sent to the Putnam County Correctional Facility on $500 cash or $1,000 bail bond, pending an Oct. 18 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.
