Pair Charged in Danbury with Crack Possession With Intent to Sell

Danbury police charged a Danbury man and a Brookfield woman with possession of crack and possession of more than half-a-gram of crack with intent to sell, along with other charges.

Members of the Special Investigations Division and the Community Conditions unit of the Danbury Police Department learned Jaron White, a recent parolee for narcotics crimes, had a large quantity of drugs. Police saw White driving on Triangle Street, and they knew he had a suspended driver's license. When stopped, White ran and officers eventually caught him. Meanwhile, the woman in his car was seen on video removing narcotics from the car. She was captured and later admitted she removed narcotics and hid them while police were chasing White.

Police charged Jaron White, 25, Stevens Street, Danbury, with possession of crack, possession of more than a half-gram of crack, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and interfering with a police officer. He was also charged with driving a motor vehicle without a license. White was held on a $100,000 bond and a remand to custody order.

Tiffany Broderick, 26, of Brackwood Road, Brookfield, was charged with possession of crack, possession of more than half-a-gram of crack with intent to sell, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and interfering with a police officer. Broderick was held on a $20,000 bond.
