Danbury Police charged Jose Remarche, 24, State Street, Danbury, with driving under the influence and following too closely at 10:28 p.m. Friday. Remarche was released for an appearance scheduled in Danbury Superior Court.
In an unrelated incident, Danbury Police charged Edwardo Alves, 38, Padanaram Road, Danbury, with second-degree assault, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and two counts of risk of injury to a minor at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday. Alves was held for an appearance scheduled in Danbury Superior Court Thursday.
