Danbury Police: Threatening, Violating a Protective Order

Danbury police charged a city man with wiretapping, threatening and two counts of violating a protective order.

Danbury Police charged Francis Shanley, 50, Hickory Street, Danbury, with wiretapping or eavesdropping and violation of a protective order, at about 6:16 p.m. Tuesday, and four hours later charged Shanley with second-degree threatening and violating a protective order. Shanley was held on both sets of charges on a $5,000 bond.

Danbury Police provided this information. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
