Danbury Police: Threatening

Danbury Police charged a woman with threatening and criminal mischief after a disturbance on Elm Street Tuesday.

Danbury Police charged Adrian Selph, 42, of City Streets, Danbury, with threatening, disorderly conduct and later criminal mischief after an incident at the Bus Depot, Elm Street, at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday. Police said Selph yelled profanities at customers and threatened to have the place robbed because she thought the counter attendant gave her the wrong time for a bus connection. Police said Selph tried to kick out a window in the patrol car when police drove her to headquarters. She later became ill and was taken to Danbury Hospital. She was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Jan. 30.

Danbury Police provided this information. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
