Danbury Police: Third Arrest in Lowe's Shoplifting Ring

Danbury Police reported a third arrest of persons who targeted Lowe's Home Improvement Center in Danbury. This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been found guilty.

Danbury Police reported Lauren Ursitti, 32, Essex Street, Hartford, turned herself in to the Danbury Police Department Tuesday and was charged on a Danbury Superior Court warrant with organize retail theft and conspiracy to commit organize retail theft (shoplifting.) The charges are the result of a series of organized thefts during a two month period in 2011 from Lowe's on Eagle Road in Danbury. Two other persons, Jason Kocenko of New Milford, and Christine Early of New Fairfield were previously charged in connection with the theft ring. Ursitti was held on a $50,000 bond.
