Danbury Police: Shoplifting, Criminal Attempt to Shoplift

Danbury Police charged two people from Newburgh, NY, with shoplifting and criminal attempt to commit shoplifting after an incident in Danbury Wednesday.

Lorenzo Adams, 54, of Newburgh, NY, was charged with possession of a shop lifting device, sixth-degree larceny, criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny and three motor vehicle violations at about 10 a.m. Wednesday. At the same time and place, Stacey Rossman, 34, of Newburgh, NY, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny. Adams was held on a $26,000 bond. Rossman was held on a $25,000 bond.

The Danbury Police provided this information. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
