Danbury Police: Shooting

Danbury Police are investigating a shooting that may have occurred on Deer Hill Avenue Saturday. The Detective bureau is asking for help.

Danbury Police responded to Walgreens on Main Street at about 6:15 a.m. Saturday where EMT's were treating a 32 year old man for a gunshot wound to his right leg.

The victim was incoherent when officers tried to ascertain what happend.  It was determined that the victim was at a large party on Deer Hill Avenue and may have been shot there.

Anyone with information may call the Danbury Police Detective Bureau at 203 797 4662 or our Anonymous Tip Line at 203 790 8477. Victim is currently at Danbury Hospital and his injury is not life threatening.  Investgation is continuing.
