Danbury Police charged Jose Fajardo, 36, Starrs Plain Road, Danbury, on Friday with risk of injury to a minor, illegal sexual contact, third-degree sexual assault on a victim younger than 16, fourth-degree sexual assault on a victim younger than 16, and second-degree unlawful restraint.
Fajardo was held on a $500,000 bond. He was arraigned at Danbury Superior Court Monday. Fajardo was deported in 2007, and the incidents alleged here happened seven years ago when the victim was 12. Fajardo is also being held on a detainer from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
