Danbury Police Seeking Missing 17-Year-Old

Danbury Police are looking for a young man who disappeared Sunday.

are looking for Anderson Padilla, 17, who moved to Danbury from Honduras about three months ago.

Detective Thomas Michael, a police spokesman, said Padilla's aunt said the 17-year-old moved to Danbury about three months ago, and was reluctant to follow the rules or attend school in September. He disappeared Sunday.

"As far as she knows, he doesn't have any friends," Michael said, so she doesn't know where he would go. He is about 5'4'' tall, and was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.

"He owns a cell phone," Michael said, "but he hasn't set up the voice mail, so she can't leave him messages."
