Years ago I got hit and run walking in Danbury! The vehicle was a blue Jeep. The cop said to me "he's probably miles away by now, since the highway is close by". Turns out (I lived on Smith Street at the time and moved to Bethel when I bought a house) that the guy, only lived a few doors down. He would then drive by me harassing me not to tell or "I'll kill you". The police department there is horrible. Whatever they can do to get out of actually doing what they are paid for is true!!! They are the worst and sneakiest, like little children.
