Danbury Police: Robbery, Conspiracy

Danbury Police investigate robbery and conspiracy on Great Plain Road, charging three people in the incident.

Officers were sent to the area of Great Plain Road to investigate a robbery at 6:21 p.m. Tuesday. Police said they spoke to the victim who said he was walking home when a car pulled up next to him. At that point, the victim's ex-girlfriend, Amanda Fitzgerald, 21, of Danbury, got out of the car and punched him. Fitzgerald then instructed two other men, Charles Osdranus, 21, of Danbury, and Anthony Priar, 21, of Danbury, to "get him." At that point Priar and Osdranus proceeded to assault the victim. Priar and Osdranus also removed an undisclosed amount of money from the victim. The suspects were located shortly thereafter. Priar was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree assault, third-degree assault, and conspiracy to commit third-degree robbery.  He was held on $100,000 bond. Fitzgerald was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree assault, third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree conspiracy to commit robbery.  She was held on $100,000 bond. Osdranus was charged with third-degree conspiracy to commit assault, third-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, third-degree larceny, and criminal impersonation. (He gave a false name during processing.) He was held on $100,000 bond.
