Danbury Police: Robbery, Cocaine, Marijuana
Danbury Police charged one person in the Danbury Fair mall garage with possession of cocaine and marijuana and a second person at Sports Authority with robbery.
Danbury Police were dispatched to the Danbury Mall parking garage at about 10:10 p.m. Sunday, when Mall Security reported suspicious activity in a car parked in the 3rd level of the garage. Police said Joseph Ciliberti, 18, Glenville Road, New Fairfield, was in possession of a small amount marijuana and cocaine. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a pipe. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
Danbury Police responded to Sports Authority on Sugar Hollow Road at about On 10 p.m. Friday on a report that employees were struggling with Daniel Crawford Jr., 26, of Peaceable Hill Road, Brewster, NY, to detain him from leaving the store in a shoplifting attempt. Crawford was charged with third-degree robbery, fourth-degree larceny and interfering with a police officer. He was held on a $2,500 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court Monday.
