Danbury Police: Prostituion Arrests

The following information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.

continued their crackdown on prostitution downtown with four people charged Thursday.

Police said Tijuana Brown, 36, of Rose Street, Danbury, was charged at about 6:50 p.m. Thursday with prostitution, possession of narcotics,  and possession of a controlled substance following a joint investigation by the department's Special Investigation Division and the Community Conditions Unit. At the same time and place, Glenn Robinson, 52, New Milford, was charged with patronizing a prostitute. Brown was released on a $2,500 bond. Robinson was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Sept. 17.

About two hours later, Ditsa Collado, 39, city streets, Danbury, was charged with prostitution, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotics near a school. Collado was charged at 8:22 Thursday. Collado was held on a $2,500 bond. At the same time, Rojerio Dacosta, 40, of Purcell Drive, was charged with patronizing a prostitute. He was released on a written promise to appear in court on Sept. 17.
