Danbury Police: Narcotics WITS/Public Housing

The Danbury Police charged one resident of the Fairfield Ridge Public Housing neighborhood with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, and charged a second person at the same time.

The Danbury Police Department's Special Investigations Division charged Loretta Moore, 52, of 4 Fairfield Ridge, at about 6:15 p.m. Friday, with two counts of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a public housing complex, possession of drug paraphernalia and risk of injury to a child. Moore was released with an appearance scheduled in Danbury Superior Court.

At the same time and place, Darrell Spencer, 26, Hayfield Road, Waterbury, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of crack cocaine, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a public housing complex, and interfering with a police officer at about 6:15 p.m. Friday. Spencer remains in Danbury Police Department custody.
