Danbury Police: Narcotics WITS

Danbury Police charged two city men with selling and buying narcotics Saturday at about 9:30 a.m.

Danbury Police charged Anthony Moore, 48, Mourning Place, Danbury, with criminal attempt to sell narcotics, possession of narcotics and interfering with a police officer Saturday at 9:39 a.m. Moore was released on a $25,000 bond.

At the same time, Danbury Police charged Roberto Rivera, 47, William Street, Danbury, with criminal attempt to possess narcotics, and interfering with a police officer. Rivera was released on a $1,000 bond.

This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
