Danbury Police Log: Stabbing in Home Invasion

The following information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is not guilty until having been convicted in court.

Danbury Police are investigating a stabbing on Beaver Brook Road Tuesday night that happened during a home invasion.

Police said they responded to a disturbance at 1 Beaver Brook Road at about 10:34 p.m. Police said two men went into the victim's home and demanded money. They fought, and the victim was stabbed in the back. He was later treated at Danbury Hospital and released. The wounds were not life threatening, police said. Police said they found Adrian Jourdain hiding in the woods nearby with a cut on his face. He was also treated and released by Danbury Hospital. Jourdain, 26, Coal Pit Hill Road, Danbury, was charged with home invasion, conspiracy to commit home invasion and with second-degree assault. He was held on a $250,000 bond. He will be arraigned Wednesday in Danbury Superior Court. Police released no information about the second man involved in the home invasion.
