Danbury Police: Fight Leads to Drug Charges

A fight at Koo Restaurant on Pembroke Road led to charges Wednesday for narcotics and threatening.

Danbury Police charged a Yonkers, NY, man with breach of the peace, second-degree threatening, interfering with police, criminal mischief, possession of narcotics and failure to keep narcotics in the proper bottle after a fight at Koo Restaurant Wednesday at 11 p.m. Police said they were called to a disturbance at Koo on Pembroke Road, and after their investigation, Police charged Robert Salvagio, 54, of Mile Square Road, Yonkers, with the above charges. Police said he smashed a window and threatened a patron. Salvagio was held on $5,000 bond for a court date Thursday.

 In an unrelated case, Danbury Police charged Julio Rodriguez, 31, of 27 Sheridan St., Danbury, with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor following an investigation by the Special Victims Unit. Rodriguez was released on a $10,000.00 bond for a court date Thursday.

This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
