Danbury Police: Failure to Provide Photograph on Sex Registry

Danbury Police released the following information about Victory Cherry of Danbury, who failed to provide a photograph as part of his registration requirements on the State Police Sex Offender Registry.

The Connecticut State Police Sex Offender Registry Unit notified the Danbury Police Department Special Victims Unit that Victor Cherry, a registered sex offender, had failed to provide the Sex Offender Registry Unit with a photograph as required as part of his registration requirements.  The Danbury Special Victims unit applied for arrest warrant for Victor Cherry.  An arrest warrant was granted by the Danbury Superior Court for Victor Cherry. Cherry was charged by members of the Community Conditions Unit Monday.  Victor Cherry was held on a $100,000 bond. 

Danbury Police provided this information in a press release. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
