At the same time and place, Jesse Castillo, 31, of Nabby Road, was charged with two counts of interfering with a police officer plus second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault, two counts of criminal violation of a protective order, second-degree threatening, and disorderly conduct.

Castillo was originally held on a $20,000 bond, but it was raised Thursday at Danbury Superior Court to $50,000 and he remains in custody.
